Private yoga sessions can provide a wonderful start for beginners, a chance to work on more challenging poses for seasoned yogis and the opportunity to relax, stretch and switch off from the world for those with busy schedules.

Many of my clients split their sessions into half yoga and half reflexology or reiki.
Private yoga sessions are customized to you, the client. What we work on may vary week to week, depending upon what is going on in your life. No matter what, I’ll meet you where you are. One week you might need an active practice, the next a more restorative, grounded practice. I’ve been teaching a number of my clients for 13+ years and one of my most dedicated students is 93 years old!
ONLINE CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
My vinyasa classes blend breath, strength, fluidity, stability and alignment, in a lighthearted and welcoming environment. I offer clear and concise instruction, with variations for different abilities. These classes are best for those who already have some yoga experience.
Stretch session classes are chair based and appropriate for everyone. Perfect if you sit a lot, have limited mobility, limited time or just want to get some movement in in between meetings.
Restorative yoga is appropriate for all levels. It’s a grounding practice, encouraging deep release and relaxation. The poses are supported by props (blocks, blankets, bolsters, pillows etc). The emphasis is on supporting the entire body, rather than focusing on stretching or muscular effort.

Reflexology is an ancient form of complementary therapy that encourages harmony of body, mind and spirit. It is based on the theory that every part of the body has a corresponding area, or reflex point, on the soles of the feet. By applying gentle pressure to these reflex areas, the whole body is encouraged to relax.

Studies also show that reflexology may have benefits in palliative care of people with cancer.
Reiki is a healing therapy that encourages the body, mind and spirit to find balance and harmony. It promotes relaxation and a deep sense of wellbeing, as the body releases tension and returns to a more balanced state. Reiki can help to alleviate anxiety, reduce pain and encourage homeostasis. Reiki is suitable for everyone and is practiced by gently placing the hands on the body or just above the body.
The experience of a reiki session varies from person to person, but many people feel warmth or a tingling sensation. Some people drift off to sleep or experience a heightened dream-like state. At the end of the treatment, most people report feeling refreshed, with a more positive and balanced outlook.
Urban Zen Integrative Therapy (UZIT) is an integrative form of holistic therapy, addressing both the body and mind, through yoga therapy, essential oils, guided body scan meditations, breath awareness, reiki and contemplative care. Sessions can help digestion, respiration, circulation and movement and can alleviate pain, anxiety, nausea, insomnia and constipation. UZIT session also help to alleviate stress and encourage a sense of wellbeing.
With reflexology, she can target the areas which need the most work, and you finish the session feeling totally relaxed and rejuvenated.
For me, reflexology is not just about relaxation, but also an integral element to my total health and wellbeing.
